What we do: Athens Art Net is an independent initiative focusing on creating networking opportunities for individuals within the arts in Athens or with links to Athens. Our guests include professionals from wide range of fields; from artists to commissioners, from gallery owners to fashion designers, from art funding bodies to art enthusiasts. Our aim is to create networking opportunities within a neutral yet sophisticated environment, enable communication within the Athens art/design/craft/fashion/theatre scene, break status boundaries and promote fruitful networking.
How it’s done: We aim to make networking within the arts a smooth and productive experience. We inform all our confirmed guests via email of our next venue, accompanying the email with a clear list of guests joining us on the evening. At this point RSVP is essential.On the event we offer nametags to our guests and encourage them to network as much as they like, as well as introducing them to one another when possible. We also organise a series of talks by professionals in different disciplines encouraging cross-discipline networking.
