Having
qualified as an Architect from the Bartlett School of Architecture,
UCL, in 2003, Sandor also previously studied at the University
of Bath and the University of Edinburgh and received the
Scottish Schools of Architecture Award as a diploma student.
With both parents working as artists and graphic designers,
art and design has always been a subject of interest. After
University, in 2001, in collaboration with Swiss Practice
Grego & Smolenicky, he won the Basel Art & Architecture
Fair Stipendium award and has continued to work in Europe,
including London , Austria and Zurich
.
In architecture, Sandor was involved in the design of the
private studio for British sculptor Anthony Gormely whilst
at David Chipperfield Architects and after working at the
London office of Foster and Partners, has also been responsible
for the design and co-ordination of a new art-foundation
centre with architectural practice Borgos Dance, for international
Art Publisher Louis T. Blouin Macbain.
Sandor is currently a practising architect at the office
of Eva Jiricna Architects Ltd. in London.
