and the Performers:

For the creation of The Bodymode Show, Public Artist Eileen Botsford filmed, photographed and talked with 8 performers from backgrounds in acting, dance, film and performance art. The performers where asked to answer questions on how they associated certain states of being and appearance with parts of their bodies. Some of these questions are also discussed in The Bodymode Show blog.

" I was intrigued to discover the originality of perspectives each of us withholds in terms of our body image. The view we have of our bodies is formed socio-pshycologically...it's also not static which defeats the object our obsession over it. Why did I work with performers? Performers usually are able to release certain masks and expose more about themselves on camera, they also know how to work with a lens, I was not making a documentary, I am raising questions through visually beautiful images..." read more in Eileen's Interview about The Bodymode Show
