The Stairwell Project Eileen Botsford has been assigned by Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Trust, to create a public art piece called The Stairwell Project. The Stairwell Project will incorporate the creation of a site-specific installation in in the stairwell of the Department of Psychological Medicine at GOSH. This is the leadway for children and families attending the Mildred Creek inpatient unit, the feeding team day programme and staff who work in the department. "I feel that The Stairwell Project not only highlights issues of function, space, aesthetics and atmosphere but also brings up the very important issue of the interpretation of the very specific public/audience which will be viewing the piece.
